What Changed in 1965
Pre-Baldwin Country Gentleman at peak quality. The Beatles are still driving demand for Gretsch. George Harrison had largely moved on to other instruments by this point, but the association remained powerful.
Collector's Notes
Pre-Baldwin (before 1967) is the critical distinction. 1965 represents excellent value in the pre-Baldwin Country Gentleman market — later than peak Beatles demand but same factory quality.
