Fender Telecaster Price Guide
The Fender Telecaster (originally Broadcaster) is the world's first commercially successful solid-body electric guitar. Its simple construction, bright twangy tone, and incredible versatility made it a staple of country, rock, blues, and virtually every other genre.
Produced: 1950–present
📖 Buyer's Guide
Blackguard Telecasters (1950-1954) with the original black bakelite pickguard are the most valuable. 'Nocaster' models (1951 — no name on headstock during trademark dispute) command a significant premium. Look for replaced tuners and bridges, which were commonly upgraded by players.
