Fender Stratocaster Price Guide
The Fender Stratocaster, introduced in 1954, is arguably the most recognizable electric guitar ever made. Its contoured body, three-pickup configuration, synchronized tremolo system, and distinctive tone made it a favorite of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and countless others.
Produced: 1954–present
📖 Buyer's Guide
Pre-CBS Stratocasters (pre-1965) are the most collectible. Check the neck date stamp (visible when the neck is removed), pot dates, and pickup dates — a legitimate 1959 Strat should have components from 1958-1959. Body routs for non-original parts and refin are common issues to look for.
