Pickups & Electronics
Two floating single-coil pickups. Full rhythm/lead circuit. Peak pre-CBS Jazzmaster quality.
What Changed in 1962
The Jazzmaster in its pre-CBS prime. Sunburst and custom colors. These are the Jazzmasters that would later define surf music and then 1980s/1990s alternative rock.
Collector's Notes
The floating tremolo bridge/tailpiece system should be complete — missing parts are difficult to source. Custom color Jazzmasters command significant premiums. Verify that the rhythm circuit is functional and unmolested.
