Gretsch White Falcon Price Guide

The Gretsch White Falcon was introduced in 1955 as Gretsch's flagship guitar — a statement piece with gold hardware, sparkle binding, and a white finish that made it the most visually spectacular guitar of its era. Neil Young's famous 'Old Black' is a modified White Falcon.

📖 Buyer's Guide

Early single-cutaway White Falcons (1955-1961) are the most valuable. Condition is paramount — the white finish yellows beautifully but severe checking or paint loss dramatically reduces value. Original gold-plated hardware tarnishes and is difficult to replace authentically.
