Gibson ES-345 Price Guide
The Gibson ES-345 was the mid-tier model between the ES-335 and ES-355, introduced in 1959. It featured stereo wiring with a Varitone selector switch, gold hardware, and a bound fingerboard with double-parallelogram inlays. PAF-equipped early models are the most collectible.
Produced: 1959–1981
📖 Buyer's Guide
The stereo wiring and Varitone circuit are commonly converted to mono — verify the original circuit is intact under the pickguard. Original PAF pickups (1959-1962) are the key value driver. Gold hardware shows wear readily; original plating is preferred over re-plated examples.
